This Gadget Has No Title

“A path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you . . . Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself alone, one question . . . Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't it is of no use.”

Thinking About An Episode of the Walking Dead

So, The Walking Dead.

Woodbury, a town isolating itself from the outside world, with a governor who professes the need for safety and uses fear as the primary motivation for support of his authority, has a armed force to 'protect' the people but it is also used to maintain order and carry out the Governor's will. When people disagree with his rule, those people are called terrorists which then becomes his justification to murder, torture, and manipulate anybody who exists outside and inside the perimeter. The 'entertainment' is designed to excite and desensitize the populace without anybody questioning what is going on or whether or not its just or right.

Why does this sound familiar?
